Unfortunately, we could not enjoy our order, as nothing came after half an hour and we had to go to our castle tour. The staff made a totally overwhelmed impression, although not many guests were there. A pity

Very nice terrace with a view, depending on where you sit. We didn't have to wait at all when we got there. We ordered the sweet potato gnocci, vegetarian Flammkuchen and the Wiener schnitzel. All three were very tasty. I would order them again. The staff was very friendly and helpful. All in all a pleasant and happy experience!

We had a great desire to eat and drink a beer, unfortunately we didn't make it, pandemics and a couple of tables for four people, there were individual customers or couples on the terrace Otherwise everything is fine, the service is nice , Atmosphere pleasant.

Delicious food, reasonably prepared, nice atmosphere with a great view, friendly staff, reasonable prices. Hygiene measures are observed relatively well. Tables actually wiped regularly.

If you arrive at the main tourist time (12 noon), it is of course a bit hectic - nevertheless the staff made the best of it, were invariably friendly, the (apparently freshly prepared) food tasted very good to us, and the prices are good absolutely appropriate, for the exposed location even very cheap! A great restaurant. :)

Too warm for food. But delicious apple spritzer and very delicious dessert. Tiramisu (delicious) and chocolate cake (bomb)

Beautiful Castle. Well maintained. The tour was really very interesting and impressive. Yes my wife and I both enjoyed the morning tour in the castle. The life of the inhabitants must have been very primary even though they were the richest in their region.

Such fun. What a climb! Worth every minute. Great Viking tour person and stunning views. Rough living back a few centuries. No cell service then either. That's the good news. Get a chance to go rampage through, Go!

Lovely castle, original and interesting. You do have to go on an escorted tour. Cafe etc all well appointed. Tour available in English.

Neat place cool castle

Immerse yourself in medieval history! A one hour guided tour is not enough, though. Many parts of the castle are inaccessible and that is a huge disappointment to an explorer like me.

We had our New Year celebration with the company and it was perfect. We were very well entertained with a social program between courses and the food was just great.

Nice place, kept in good conditions, on a top of a hill with a great view to the river. There is a car parking costing 2 euro. Inside the castle there is a nice restaurant and a bookshop. It is possible to visit inside the castle only paying a tour with the guide. Check the schedule to be sure when the tour is in English or German. The guide has been very nice, friendly and providing great explanations. The length is around 40 min. It is worth to visit the castle, although mostly the castles are similar, because of the explanations provided by the guide. Worth a visit (7 eur for entrance and guide).

Impresive structure on the river Rhine. Not the only one here, but the only never destroyed.

Great dinner presentation for group. Had individuals participate in a skit. All with a medieval theme. Before dinner we got a tour of the castle. Awesome performance.

This is a small cafe at Marksburg Castle. It has fast service with delicious cakes and reasonable prices. The views of course are spectacular! You can see the Rhine River and Braubach below.

Very nice castle tour. Guide was excellent and had very good English. Tour is steep and challenging walking at times...uneven stone and quite a few stairs.

The Marksburg Schanke is a nice place to relax and have a cup of coffee after your tour thru the Marksburg Castle. Found everyone to be friendly and helpful.
